Corporate Members are those companies not actively or directly involved in the operation of any kind of tourism venture. They shall have the right to display the TASA logo on material that does not bring the Association into disrepute. These members shall not have the right to attend meetings except at the invitation of the National Executive Council, and shall not have the right to vote, or be elected to the National Executive Council. These companies must comply with all legal requirements of the republic of Namibia and any other country in which they are operational.

Full members shall be those organizations, bodies, companies or closed corporation engaged in the professions of Tour Operator or Tour Wholesaler, with or without own vehicles or other forms of transportation, whose main activities are to develop, market, sell, undertake and/or to arrange tourism packages to and within Namibia. (For the purpose of this definition a tourism package is understood to be a combination of any two of the following :- transport, meals, accommodation and tour guiding).

Provisional members shall be those organizations, bodies, companies or closed corporation engaged in the professions of Tour Operator or Tour Wholesaler, with or without own vehicles or other forms of transportation, whose main activities are to develop, market, sell, undertake and/or to arrange tourism packages to and within Namibia, serving a two year probation period before being able to apply for Full Membership. (For the purpose of this definition a tourism package is understood to be a combination of any two of the following :- transport, meals, accommodation and tour guiding).

Associate members shall be those bodies, societies, associations and organizations engaged in the promotion of tourism to and within Namibia, and/or those principals, organizations, bodies, companies or closed corporations that do not have any registered and effective office infrastructure in Namibia, but will have to submit proof of an equivalent membership in their country of origin.

Affiliate members shall be those tourism related businesses such as travel agents, car rental companies, accommodation providers, students, persons and institutions, who have an interest in tourism and would like to keep in touch with TASA and its members and be informed on tour operation development in Namibia.

BBEE Members shall be Namibian organizations, bodies, companies, closed corporations, societies, associations and individuals engaged in the professions of Tourism Service Providers, with or without own vehicles or other forms of transportation, whose main activities are to develop, market, sell, undertake and/or to arrange tourism packages to and within Namibia. Applicants that have a minimum of 75% previously racially disadvantaged persons as shareholders / proprietors may apply for Membership. Membership is available to applicants engaged in any area of Namibian tourism and who wish to succeed in application to one of the above membership categories. (Individuals only in the case of those wishing to eventually become Affiliate Members).
